1935 MG N type top-end rebuild in progress

This engine is quite fun, 6 cylinders, SOHC and non adjustable valve opening.

Cylinder head rebuilt with new guides, valves, springs and a 3 angle seat job. Cam towers and the angle drive must be shimmed in place. This is time consuming but everything need to rotate without binding.

At the moment waiting for 0.05 brass sheets for the final shims to be made up.

Valves must be ground to get the correct clearance, I have not decided whether to use the mill or bench grinder. Patience and a lot of iterations will be needed.
